After more years than I care to remember bouncing from sales job to sales job trying to will myself to make cold calls, I finally had to throw in the towel after a good buddy had to fire me.
I always knew I wanted to run my own business, and heard about this idea of “attraction marketing”, where customers would contact the businesses, not the other way around.
I was hooked. And I knew I could apply to any business.
So, I started working with small business owners in St. Louis - for free, of course. I had a pizza place, a law firm, and a dentist office.
Slowly, I started to figure out how to do it. Then magically, those first few clients’ friends started to refer new small business owners to me. And poof! we had a business.
My wife Kendra and I started St. Louis Marketing Lab.
Oh yeah, I love music!
